Temptations Poem by Caliban Hicks

Temptations

Rating: 5.0

The drink and the leaf
They call to all like me
Those who have lost
The forgotten of God
Beelzebub rears his head
Waiting to latch on
His demons assault me
Why dont they see
The fall to temptation
Taking hold of the free
Ive seen them take
Through drink and smoke
While on them i both would choke
Longing to let them in
The temptations come again
