Tenaciously I Believe Poem by James Charles Hutsell ( Aka Butch )

Tenaciously I Believe

In the distance
past the dense and heavy dark haze,
I just believe so tenaciously with every breath of life in me;
there are waiting brighter days.

What care I if it's not easy;
I never expected it to be so.
If I awoke one day to find all going my way,
then I would fear another had control.

I would be one great fool, if I knew not that much woe
was brought upon by me.
Had I ever really known unconditional love, just possibly
I would not have surrenderd all I am; quite so easily.

Still my heart bleeds for those whom have needs,
far greater than my own.
For from my dark times, my heart; it's empathy
to that of my fellow beings has truly, fully grown.

So I believe still tenaciously; there is a greater truth.
These beautiful, creative spirits can make it right.
And bring the Peace, Love and Happiness;
thus the whole of Earth will see the light.
