Th£ Rich£$t Man Aliv£

If every tear I cried for you
Were a precious stone,
I'd be the richest man alive,
But I'd be spending it alone.

If I got paid for all the time
I've spent thinking about you,
I'd be a multi billionaire
But I'd be down and blue.

For you're the one that broke my heart
and tore my insides out.
You made me lose my confidence
And filled me with self doubt.

If I had a penny for all the times I wondered how I'd lost you.
I'd hate to think in pounds and pence
How much that it would cost you.

Now I've sat down and worked it out and realised what you owe me.
I deserve at least a second chance,
If that's something you can throw me?

If it is my sweetheart,
Then I promise you,
We could make our love survive,
I'd make you the happiest girl in town,
And I'd be the richest man alive!
