Thank You

You were always there for me
When times were very bad.
No matter what the situation was,
It was you I always had.

You always paid attention
And allowed me to be myself,
In certain ways I couldn't do
With anybody else.

When I was at my worst
And wasn't feeling strong,
You came along and gave me strength
And helped me to go on.

I'm glad I've had the chance
To have known someone like you;
Someone I could depend on;
Someone so pure and true.

If ever I should wonder
Whether my life has been worthwhile,
I'll quickly stop and think of you,
And then begin to smile.

Now I'd like to add
Just a few more things.

Thanks
For being the perfect friend
And thanks
For all the joy you bring.
Thank you very much.
Thanks—
For everything.

Thank you.

Every now and again we get someone in our lives who
make the difference that can change our lives. These are
the true friends who are very rare. A great poem. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
