Thanks to all nations

'Vasudhev katumbkam' the world is one family
the spirit behind is one society
the concept was formulated centuries ago
and still, we go by that spirit

India provided a lead
and read the impending danger
the Corona with its new variant was devastating
we thought it has gone from the country and we were openly stating

we provided Vaccine doses to many countries
to alleviate their sufferings
we were praised for this humanitarian gesture
under the international convention and law, it was assured

the things turned worse
we were to bear onslaught from corona and curses
there was a shortage of medicines, hospital beds and oxygen
the concern was shared by the majority of the nations

the supply was rushed as the gravity of the situation was realized
the developed countries readily obliged
the situation is still out of control
but we shall come off well

we thank all peace-loving nations
for rendering help to the Indian nation
as it has staved off the situation
from turning to worst with deterioration
