That First Shy Look Eternal Poem by Terence George Craddock

That First Shy Look Eternal

the look of love
that first shy look
an indelible irreplaceable
treasure forever soul soft glow
the language of love needs no words
only eyes that hold hands that touch
hearts happy living in each others souls
mind spirit soul interlock live one life

the look of love
that first shy look of love
shall remain silent soft imperishable
guarding youth young necessity heart
until time has passed irredeemable
until the light goes out

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

There is a hidden nod in 'time has passed irredeemable' to love reaching back to ancient times, an echo of my poems 'Love Supplicated' and '* No Time For Us'.

Great poem. Reminds me of Anita Baker crooning " The look of love"
