That Love For Me Poem by Kari Redger

That Love For Me

Gods love never fails me.
It's vastly huge and like the sea;
It's ever-constant strength and flow
Are with me everywhere I go.

And when I feel so hugely weak,
If I will prayerfully that Fountain seek,
Love lifts me up on great soft wings,
Severing all my earthly strings.

I know I cannot walk alone
If I want to reach God's throne.
I need that never-dying love
To be God's servant 'as a dove'

I feel that Love wherever I go
It is my shadow here below.
Its presence softly reprimands
To truly love each soul of man.
No matter how they've lived and done
Or if they seem to live for fun

To be that servant of my King
I cannot hold one grudge or thing
Against my fellow friends and foe.
Again God lets that Love to flow
If I open wide my door
To young and old and rich and poor.

Yes that is why I'm on this Earth
To share the Love of my new Birth,
Let that Love just shine right out,
Proclaim what Life is all about...
