That Moment Of Truth Poem by Neha Dua

That Moment Of Truth

Walking in the twilight I followed my shadow
Looking beyond the horizon so yellow
Waiting to discover the meaning of life
Craving as if my heart was slaughtered with a knife

Blowing breeze then caressed my hair
Embracing it I felt no fear
Whispering something in my ear
Something which I couldnt hear

But I no longer felt like a fallen leaf
Or a peck of broken glass from the sheaf
That moment of truth made me sane
I want to play, dance like a child again...

The God inside our heart always speaks the truth. It is the man who takes it or not because of his self ego.
