That One Right Time Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

That One Right Time

It never fails.
To have that one right time,
That comes along.
For someone patient that has tolerated,
Another who says something wrong.
With it done to do much too prolonged.
To find that the time they chose to pick,
With an open mouth.
Should have sent a signal,
And quick to their brain to silence...
An ignorance nonstop to end it.
But the warning they decided to ignore.
With a leaving behind,
What can not be fixed.
Regardless of how, where and when,
They discover their actions to have been...
Thoughtless, self serving and stupid.
