That Puzzle Poem by Vera Sidhwa

That Puzzle

Puzzle

The funny shaped puzzle
Was made up of a thousand pieces
But it didn't for me at all.
But life was made up of a million pieces.

I wondered whether I could
Put those pieces together into
One a gigantic puzzle
But try as I may I couldn't.

It came to my mind
That God's wish was that
I would think clearly
In my mind so eager.

I figured out much
But I also discovered many small pieces
Yet the gigantic piece of God's puzzle
Was the puzzling piece of all.
