When I touch you in the morning
and the days first sunlight warms your skin
When your eyes have barely opened
and your day can now begin
When you feel me there beside you
and you reach to bring me close
That's when I know I love you
That's when I need you most

When I kiss your shoulder softly
and you tremble at my touch
When I wrap my arms around you
and time does not mean much
When you whisper to me gently
that I make you feel so safe
When a single crystal tear
appears momentarily upon your face
That's when I know I love you
That's when I know my place.
