She was abused for so long it made her abuser feel big and strong
Fear of getting beat made her soft and weak.
Then on social media she saw a group of abused women's fight
Who stood up for their rights.
There were shelters where they could go and where it was
No one would know.
Now steps had to be followed for the courts to see
That this was a reality and not a fictionalized story of a wife
To get out of a married life.
Hospital pictures, x-rays and more and documentation by the police
In order for her to be released.
The abuser did not know the steps she had taken and soon
His life would be shaken.
That night he came home drunk again and started to beat her to no end.
(she called the police and he was arrested for domestic violence
Then changed to A&B -Assault and Battery after seeing the before
And after pictures from the hospital)
There was a lesson she learned that day
In an abusive relationship youcannot stay.
