The Affair Poem by Susan Alldred Lugton

The Affair

Rating: 3.7

Their bodies fused,
their minds not there.
They blocked despair,
that said not fair.

A moment blissful
Then torn apart,
Their minds regained,
their feelings reigned

Back home once more
to their real worlds,
The pain again,
she'll see him when?

A word a call,
They meet again,
the fusing bliss,
the blind abyss.

The truth begins,
they face their sins
They're worlds apart,
why did this start?

Its over now,
reality.
Agony deep,
time to weep

It's question time
What did they do
to cause this pain
for little gain?
