The Antique Photograph Poem by rita recine

The Antique Photograph

I believe in angels.
I believe in images.
An epic picture never ages.
Its color may differ, its color may change
We may see folds on either sides, nevertheless it always remains the same.
It captures the moment in time forever, An eternal essence which can never dissipate.
It provides a story which we withold and maintain with glory, bringing
a certainty of love in our hearts.

Similar to the butterfly which flys away with serenity and liberty.
A fotograph of the past reveals its true innocence and purity which is forever lasting.

Truly one of the greatest possesion we can hold.
Every image has a legend
Like a poem or a song and, and every picture has its story....
