The Begging Heart Poem by MEKALH AGAMET

The Begging Heart

Rating: 5.0

So I thought…
With a little gut and a little push
A beautiful intention in the heart
I can face you in the eyes
Despite your glare all in a dart.

You may think I have lost my ways
Just decided a change in art
You won't see what I see
You won't see the beauty of my heart.

Deep in me, my soul tells me
A fire will do no good at all
So I said…..
I would remain wise and see
Through love I may tame you
you may hear my call.

So I decided to love you.

Then you thought I was helpless
All I care was love and nothing else
You stripped me off
Turned my life in to a mess.

Then I said…..
Through the fight I fight you
Fire will be set ablaze
You and I would burn for days..
Then….
Yes only then
Will I be able to take and seize,
All my freedom back to my base.
