The Between Man

Where light and darkness interlay,
Resides a tale of mortal kind,
A journey of heart and restless mind.

Behold, 'tis the tale of 'The Between Man, '
Who walks the line, where others can't span,
Neither saintly soul, nor villainous wight,
He treads the twilight, betwixt day and night.

With eyes that gleam, like twilight's haze,
He wanders through life's mystic maze,
His steps uncertain, yet ever sure,
In search of truths obscure and pure.

Between the cracks of the world he roams,
Through echoes of forgotten homes,
He dances on the edge of dreams,
Where reality and fantasy gleams.

In twilight's realm, he seeks to find,
The boundaries of the human mind,
For in the spaces between the known,
The seeds of wisdom are gently sown.

He gazes at the stars' grand design,
Ponders the mysteries, divine and fine,
Asks questions that breach the mortal scope,
In hope to grasp the universe's trope.

He listens to the whispering wind,
Whose secrets to his soul rescind,
Songs of ages long gone by,
And futures yet to paint the sky.

The Between Man bears the weight of worlds,
In realms where cosmic chaos unfurls,
Neither bound by the mundane's claim,
Nor blinded by ambition's fiery flame.

He lives within the spaces between,
Where wonder and doubt convene,
And there, amidst the unknown's embrace,
He finds his purpose, his sacred place.

For in the twilight's ethereal glow,
The Between Man learns to ebb and flow,
He embraces the paradox of his birth,
And finds his worth on this wondrous earth.

So let us raise a toast to him,
The seeker of truths both bright and dim,
For in the realm where shadows play,
The Between Man lights the way.
