The Big Bang Poem by Kewayne Wadley

The Big Bang

Rating: 5.0

Everything stops
Arms raise for moments time
My eyes close and my mouth opens.
My nose tingles something fierce, is it dust. Someone's perfume.
Lord have mercy,
Let them and that bothersome fragrance go on somewhere
Anywhere but here
I feel it coming, Slow creeping.
Festering.
Why won't you leave already.
Geez Louise. Why torment me the way you do.
Then it happens, I sneeze.
Achooooo
I buckle.
My heart is at ease,
I feel such liberation.
A loud sounding vibration
No longer suspended in animation.
No longer hesitant, clearing my nose
A climax of relief
Free from that troublesome essence
That spec of dust
