The Blissful Dream Poem by Jonathan Platt

The Blissful Dream

Lightning bolts fill Heaven's darkening sky -
They're as jagged as Satan's teeth.
And the thunder that follows after
Is the growl of a hellish beast.

The storm destroys God's paradise -
And Hell has won, it would seem!
But before the Devil can celebrate,
He wakes from his blissful dream.
