The Boeing 737 Max- Issue. Poem by M. Asim Nehal

The Boeing 737 Max- Issue.

Rating: 5.0

Boeing never bowed down,
though families wore a frown,
for the Lion and Ethiopian planes had crashed down.
Investigations revealed, faults in their machines,
yet, the airplane maker denied any sins.

Families gathered, agitated and upset,
their loved ones gone, they couldn't forget.
they demanded answers, they pleaded and cried,
but Boeing showed no remorse, no shame or abide.

The world looked on, in shock and despair,
How could they disregard, the families' care?
Boeing's reputation, tarnished and stained,
their arrogance and pride, forever ingrained.

The families still wait, for justice and peace,
their hearts heavy, their sadness will not cease.
Boeing chose their profits, over human lives,
their actions unforgivable, no matter their tries.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Lion Air Flight 610 in October 2018. It crashed in the Java Sea shortly after take-off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta. All 189 people aboard were killed. Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, in March 2019. It crashed shortly after take-off from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. All 157 people aboard were killed. The circumstances of both crashes were similar, and it was suspected that problems with the Manoeuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) were at least partly to blame. Following the NTSB investigation, this was confirmed. The MCAS system is designed to move the nose down if an increased angle of attack is detected, to help avoid a stall. The problems that led to the two crashes included erroneous readings from sensors and a lack of training for pilots in how to respond.

Every person working for Boeing should read this poem Asim as Boeing have an army of legal experts who stall, postpone or try and prevent justice. I would send it to Boeing's management and directors. I hope this poem makes PoD.

3. CEO, Dennis Muilenburg pressured regulators and put profits ahead of the safety of passengers, pilots, and flight attendants.

At that moment I THOUGHT myself, how inhuman is he/Boeing, only the money counts.

It ws a TV interview with a Boeing pane builder, he told us about those occurrences, and Boeing does not repair any planes, but sell the planes to oriental and african countries. Then we will hear so now and then airplanes-crashes. This Boeing man ended that TV interview with a smile.

What amused me more so that none of the Boeing Top bosses came forward and apologise to the family members of the victims, they kept refuting all charges, they never said the Pilots were never trained on for new MCAS system.

Boeing knows that some planes should not fly anymore, they must be on retirement, but Boeing kept on with selling old and defect planes to African and Eastern countries. IF Boeing repair those planes, that will cost Boeing very high costs

Madam Sylvia, this demonstrates their perception and distinction between individuals. An American is deemed to be vastly superior to any African or Asian, displaying a clear double standard. Thank you so much for your Comments and support.
