We'll cross the bridge together,
Made not of stone, of steel neither.
A bridge of love, of noble minds;
A bridge that spans, a bridge that binds.
A bridge that stands the storms of time-
The perils of life, the poverty of dime.
A bridge that, in darkness, beacons
A refuge of freedom for coming generations.
A bridge we'll cross without fear
Of falling down or tripping over,
For each one masons the strong foundation-
One God, one motto, one destination.
A bridge that trusses the Lands of the free
To keep a-burning the flame of liberty.
Lots of meaning in this poem, Lester. Keep writing and sharing with us. Best Wishes, Marilyn
