The Captain Said To A Passenger Poem by Obed dela Cruz

The Captain Said To A Passenger

Never shall we die at the sea
And we shall practice unity.
This storm will not take away our hope
And that lightning will not slice our bones.
Let’s not be scared to this peril.
Indeed, all wounds shall one day heal.
Enjoy your life but use it carefully
And never leave behind anybody.
Behold, the waves start to rise and scare
And the scene is like a nightmare.
Yes, we must move but have faith in God.
Overcome sadness; rejoice and be glad.
Never shall we die and ever we live!
