The Pearl Of Nobel Prize Poem by Obed dela Cruz

The Pearl Of Nobel Prize

Rating: 5.0

I’ve been with you for a long time.
Your nightmare must end, and you must shine.
Too long, your people trapped you in darkness.
The world saw your stains and helplessness.

They thought you were just a little dust from the Orient seas.
But they are about to be wrong because your death will cease!
The time is near when you will embrace your good life!
Out of your shell, you will go without pain!

Planet earth will see your beauty.
They’ll know how pretty you are without misery!
They will stop laughing at you!
They will stop despising you!

Oh pearl of nobel prize, choose your owner.
Let not your owner be a life-taker.
I heard your cries and so does God.
Your people must be out from mud!

Oh pearl of nobel prize, remember this!
Clear your intentions from bad vengeance.
Teach your people to have morality!
Tell them to be wise and abhor vanity!

Fill yourself of honor and dignity!
Fill yourself of power and integrity!
Help other elements to rebuild your world.
To destruction and pain, don’t let yourself be sold!

Oh pearl, I love you so!
I’ll do my best and never give you sorrow!
Your beauty must not die but endure!
Don’t lose your identity and always be pure!

Pearl of nobel prize, don’t be a pest.
Pearl of nobel prize, be the best!

This poem is well dedicated to a pearl, which comes out of the sacrifice made by an oyster.
