The Cheetah/ The Old Man Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Cheetah/ The Old Man

The Cheetah

So tear-eyed and limping
The beauty of the wild,
The mystery of Nature
With the spots
Freckled and grizzled,
The splendour of Creation
So full of awe and suspense.

The Old Man

Time changed,
But he did not,
The same old man
Walking with the lathi
And into the round specs
Searching for help and support.
