The Christmas Card
I found her Christmas card
The one I didn't give her
Last year as we drifted past
Each other in life's breezes
I kept it safe for a whole year
As I wanted to wish her all the
Happiness the season brings
To her world with my love too
But we drifted away for a year.
And we now find ourselves in
The same place again and I
Want to give her a card this
Year with the same message
As nothing has changed.
