An eye for an eye until we all reach the sky
I wish to live in the clouds
Above every perplexing problem
Encircled in the reality of air
Where I can look down upon residents
Walking down Sunset Alley
Buttoned tightly in their winter jackets
Where I can look down upon cars
Speeding down main street
Probably late from one appointment to the next
And at the end of the day
I float back down soundly
To clumsily spill coffee on myself
Along with the rest of this small town
