A gathering storm out in the sea
As deadly and vicious as it could ever be
Yet as beautiful as any kind of dove
As the raging storm comes close to the shore
Crash! Boom! Clash!
Lightning strikes the land
Yet it is wonderful from where I stand
I see it as it draws me near
And in the back of my mind is naught a tint of fear
For the beauty of clapping thunder and flashing blue-white lightning
Sends not any living creature frightening
For from the clouds a man appears
The end of time it has come here
