The Couple Poem by Jason Summers

The Couple

The couple begins and meet as friends,
Who enjoy talking to the days on end.
They have their feelings and none to harm,
To be together within each other's arms.
They see each other and don't want to be alone,
And decide to get a place on their own.
They live amongst their heart's intent
While the love grew for which it was meant.
Years had passed and they believed
It would be right to be married when their baby's conceived.
The wedding was bright, the moment was beautiful,
The families were proud and happy to be true.
The child grew, hansome as the father, beautiful as the mother
And treasured everything in life because there was no other.
The parents passed on after the child was married.
And continued the beliefs that the couple had carried.

This story means love in all kinds of feelings,
That truth can become a reality of dreaming.
They put in their hearts, they poured in their souls
To always be together until they grow old.
