The Crippled War Hero And The Spider
It spun another web
above my shell shocked head
I hit it with my artificial leg
down it fell motionless, dead.

You should have had more compassion. Poor spider, what a sad ending. Perhaps you didn't want a 'web site' above your head, He would have been better 'legging it'. Love Ernestine XXX
