Rather than perfection,
human vulnerability
involves the paradox
of opening the door
to fulfill our potential
through ordeal and suffering.
The alchemy of life fosters
the transformative power
of the crystal of vulnerability
and so fragility and defenselessness
can turn, through consciousness,
from agony and pain into the gift
of cogent wisdom and the grace
of pure love.
