Science: A False Mirror Poem by Paul Hartal

Science: A False Mirror

Rating: 4.3

In logic facts are true or false,
Black or white.

But in real life facts are matters
of degree and they are often gray.

Now bear in mind that science follows
the rules of logic- an artificial system
of mathematical symbols- and thus it fails
to grasp that the true nature of reality
is seldom black or white.

You are so right! The true nature of reality is seldom black or white! Science cannot bring under its periphery all that is there. How much more remains hidden and out of reach! Wise thoughts!

Yet without science, Would we be still living in cave's? Dying from some simply cured disease... good food for thought And we all thank you.. James McLain

What revolutionized life, starting some 10,000 years ago, were agriculture, architecture and establishing settlements. Modern science started only in the 16th century with Copernicus. Medicine is one of the leading causes of death.
