The Cunning Fox Takes Over Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The Cunning Fox Takes Over

In the narrow streets of Sydney
The cunning Fox takes over
Rowdy and so arrogantly
Clenched its fist in anger.

Subtle in its hidden plans
It never vowed allegiance,
Motives reared, its face undone-
It will impose its Defiance.

Marking its own warped delusion
Upon the Host that let it in
The eerie 'Guest' laid imposition
On Immigration that's blinded in.

Occupied the halls of power,
Take-over's done without arms.
Dictating now Its rules to prosper,
Change the laws, though it cause harm.

Assimilate? It vowed never!
To rule alone and occupy-
Its goal is always that of terror
And by sheer Force it lives a lie.
