The Cure Poem by Captain Hook

The Cure

Rating: 4.5

Well now my life seems to depart
Once, twice, three times Sold!
To the girl with no heart
How long do you think i will uphold?

I always thought i had problems
That is until i met you
You either seem to be lost or found
Every time its always something new
After all this i was just your rebound

You thought maybe i could be your detour
I thought your heart was pure
I thought this time there would be something
But you shouted 'I can't let go of his ring'
You thought i was a little immature
I thought maybe i was the cure

Maybe our feelings for one another seem to fail
They weren't so picturesque
You seem to think love is grotesque
Unless its with him
Unless its with him
Unless its with him

You thought i was easy to allure
I thought maybe we could insure
That this time we had true feelings
When after all you weren't done unreeling
You thought you were ensure
I thought maybe i was the cure

Well now all that mattered is pointless
I'll start making a difference
I'll smile to supress
That you will get your chance
After i tell my tale
You will get your chance
After i tell my tale
