The Dark Field
The Darkness of my Heart
In the darkness of the fields.
In the darkness of the flowers,
Lay a love so sublime,
No one could see it.
I needed that love.
I wanted that love.
But the darkness wouldn't let me have it.
The daylight struck once again,
As the darkness lifted from the fields.
And I ran towards you,
As you held me in your arms.
