The Darkest Corner Poem by Lon Brunk

The Darkest Corner

The Darkest Corner

The darkest corner openly yearns
For the brightest light
A man of peace
Searches for another good fight
Our time is short
But lasts forever
Our minds are weak
But our thoughts are clever
The paper dances
Until the ink is dry
I can't see his face
And I don't know why
Our thoughts are scattered
But our intentions are clear
Our destiny is so distant
But our fate is so near

An insightful piece of poetry set aside for sober reflection. Thanks for sharing Lon.
