The Deceiver Poem by Isaiah Solis

The Deceiver

She stands atop as beautiful as an angel
Yet inside as evil as a devil
Perfect hair soft as the clouds
Skin as smooth as that of a newborns
The features of a goddess
To love her is as easy as breathing
Yet she lies
Inside is a deceitful person
Never bothered with the feelings of true love
Leading you on in her cycle of lies
To leave you lost with what to feel
She is a master of her craft
She's left me lost with nothing to feel
As beautiful as an angel
