The Deep And The Dark Poem by Barry Pook

The Deep And The Dark

Following the shadows of those that follow me,
Exploring the castles leading to the eternal tree,
The skull and the cross both death and life,
Staying strong through the fever and the strife.

Awakened for a while then back again,
Unfortunately others feel my pain,
Knowing that things will improve,
Instinct tells me it cannot be moved.

Ademently fighting against B.P.,
There is no cure it's part of me,
Insight as the years go by,
How come I'm afflicted I know not why.
