The Depth Of My Expressions Poem by Tiffany Walters

The Depth Of My Expressions

***This is simply me telling you my style of writing.... To give you a little insight to how it is the poems are formulated - besides them just flowing right out of me. ***

The Depth of MY Expressions

Tensions get built up to a point of release, when we must vent what we can to bring frustrations to a cease.

The good news is, the negative will be vented leading to the end

Only to be surprised by the unseen twisted bend.

When the reader gets to a certain point in my poem,

They'll be blind sided by what was trying to be shown.

Forcing them to see before they had a chance,

Since it's the negative words that were captivating their trance.

Their eyes will open larger then ever before

at that moment, they read the desired line pulling the lever down to the floor.

The switch was made from looking at whatever had us so mad

Only to point out and put into focus, its not that bad.

Although, each poem consists of nothing but truth as perceived.

It's the honorable unnoticed intentions that are subliminally received.

More than the eye can see

I've had my pride stripped away from me
As I'm standing here naked, exposing my humility
It's not the first time but rather, a part of a trilogy
Luckily, I have confidence in my strengths and abilities
To be able to manage my mental state without acting desperately
This comes from deep down internally, restricting what you can see
giving me the choice
to show you, who I am
and who I want to be....
