The Diamonds In The Sky Poem by Jess Soto

The Diamonds In The Sky

I weep not because of my misfortune but because of a diamond,
A diamond so tender to the touch that it can dissolve right away!
They fall only when the sun is blocked by the paparazzi of clouds,
And signal for a release of diamonds.
The earth becomes rich and I become poor.
After the death of my one and only,
I could not bear to be with these diamonds.
As they were her favorites,
Out of an abyss but sucked back into its magnetism,
But yet I fall cherishing every moment of it.
At least it gives me new thought.
The diamonds in the sky fall but fall to die.
They don't run around and grow on us,
But hide our deepest fears and worries.
So for every weep and cry,
You know it is from the diamond in the sky.
Her glorious moon eyes,
Soft feather lips,
Sunshine hair,
And sweet perfume scent,
Engulf my mind and I become one with it.
Let me weep for my misfortune!
Every diamond falls
And heals me temporarily.
Until the next fall diamond appears.
What a sparkle in the sky...
