The Earth Can Accommodate Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Earth Can Accommodate

Rating: 5.0

I would love to be lost
Among poor and suffer with all the costs
The landless peasant and laborers
They will be so dear and stay near

Everybody says” love the poor”
But I have seen people closing the doors
With expression of hatred and disliking
“Something like inhumanly behavior” is striking

How can we be so indifferent?
To a fellow human who is so descent?
Asking for no favor but only affection
Yet we treat him like unwanted with reaction

They are poor not by their fault
We are rubbing their wounds with more salt
Their wounds remain aggravated
Pain and agony remain more related

I have experienced hunger
That can not be extinguished with anger
Belly has to be filled up by all means
Even if some one is unwilling or not keen

Today scenario has been changed
People get in return if well managed
Love precedes hate but subsides later
No one has time to think or cater

They can tolerate to the extent possible
They may offer no resistance or struggle
Yet trouble can brew in if situation goes out o control
Survival is biggest problem if that raises storm with call

The earth accommodates billions of creatures
With assurance of enough food and shelters
We, as human being, have failed creator
Else we could had nothing on our hand by mentor
