The Egg, The Martian And The Tomcat Poem by Valentin Gabriel Cristea

The Egg, The Martian And The Tomcat

I saw a Martian
who was eating an egg
or an egg that
was eating a Martian.
I wondered
who was the first the egg or the Martian?
I asked the egg, that ate the Martian,
in what did the Martian change
and nobody answered me nothing.
I asked the Martian, who ate the egg,
if the egg became hen
and nobody answered me nothing.
The tomcat, more cunning that the others,
not seeing any Martian,
ate the egg.
Then I found out
that it does not matter
who it was the first: the egg or the Martian
but it matters only
who it ate the egg.
