The Enemy Poem by Dorsey Baker

You don't have to be suicidal
you don't have to think
yourself to death
you can come out of the depression
because it is
only an illusion
you can make it disappear
come face to face
stand up to
all the things that you fear!
show them you are not a coward
show them
you have the will to live
you no longer feel ashamed
when you walk
out into the light
the darkness will not follow you
because now you are on the battlefield
and you are determined
to win the fight!
you can defeat the enemy
because now
you know who he is!
