The Fool In Me Poem by Ray Springer

The Fool In Me

Crazy! careless! on the brink
Are thoughts of me now which I think
Really? Maybe? I should have known
This hurt this pain I cannot drown

u carved! u scratched! u etched! In my Brain
Grasping my chest in so much pain
I should have run I should have hid
U warned me once this love u forbid

Knowing life's an unfair game
I've already given up on being sane
I lingered for years in distance I watched
Dreaming to be embraced by ur forbidden touch

Ur broke ur seal & unleashed to me
The force struck me with disbelief
It hurts! it stings! it bleeds!
This wretched heart of mine concedes

Incredible is Ur touch ur kiss
Saturated with sweet & fatal infinite bliss
U Could move mountains, slay dragons
But instead u slew me, I'm helpless and broken!

I'm not mad not upset
U gave me something I waited forever to get
No more tears now, no pain
Know that I'd live this life over just to wait for u again!
