There is a fork in the road
How did I get here
The path that I was taking had a destination
But now I am not sure where I am going
There is a fork in the road
Which path shall I take
This one looks safe and familiar
Straight and clear, with no obstacles
The other has twists and turns
With rocks and roots on which I might stumble
With no end in sight
Do I want to take the sure one
Or do I want to explore and see what is out there
Finding something new and interesting
For now I know I must travel this path alone
Discovering that on every path there can be something good or some questioning
Taking time on this journey to stop for a moment
And enjoy what is right in front of me and reflect on what I have just seen
The fork in the road
It will be an adventure
Whichever path I take
