The Fragmented Life Poem by asma bahrainwala

The Fragmented Life

Rating: 5.0

All I see around is
The bits and pieces of life.

The shrieks, the screams, the shouts—
The frag-men-ted life.
The clutter, the chaos, the confusion—
The frag-men-ted life.

The laughs, the giggles, the chuckles—
The frag-men-ted life.
The cries, the sobs, the howls—
The frag-men-ted life.

The dreams, the desires, the wishes—
The frag-men-ted life.
The grief, the regrets, the troubles—
The frag-men-ted life.

All I see around is—
The frag-men-ted life.

a wonderful use of synonyms here. and the use of the word 'frag-men-ted' reinforces the theme. Reuben.

Asma...I try and weave together the fragments so that it becomes a patchwork of all...which is a part of life. Love...TO
