The Future Poem by Daniel Fortuna Jr.

The Future

Life is like a wheel that you must roll with; there are many roads to take, some meander & some are straight. It's up to you to decide which move to make. The path you take begins to meander; however, you don't mind, for you have on the shoes ofoptimism & believe everything will be fine,Even though all you see in the distance is blinding; nevertheless, you know that all the answers that wait for you are still worth finding. Answers I believe, coupled with a strong will, empowers me to move on; that I may seek & hopefully someday find what lies ahead before I'm gone.I pray that they manifest in the form of positivity.I can only hope that that will be the case as I contemplate in a state of lucidity.Ionly hope that I can find them before I lie on my death bed, oh the anticipation that builds within me for the mystery that lies ahead.
