The Garden Of Heaven Poem by sania harris

The Garden Of Heaven

Rating: 4.4

A river that ran as lucid as air
And the fish in it like gold and hoary
The flowers like a fiery orange flame
Nourished well by the water
Just like oil keeps a lamp constantly burning
A firm bridge of marbles
Carved by the delicate hands of angels
Where happiness is unending
Where the poor is rich
Where love has no end
Where everyone has a hand to lend
Where sadness has no place
Where everyone is filled with grace
Where the night sky is bedded full of stars
Where wishes are not needed
Where the sun shines to its fullest
Where the flowers never withers
Where money has no value
Where the old is young
Where water is honey
Where there are no owls or crows
But swans and peacocks
Where darkness is lighted
Where a smile is spread in the air
Where the ugly is a beauty
Where the roses are with no thorns
Where friendship lasts for ever
Where a promise is never broken
Where cupid strikes everyone
Where the air is purely scented
Where peace prevails
And there…
The garden of heaven blooms

This poem is a beautiful picture of Paradise and by far my favorite of all I've read that you have written. If life could be like the images and the thoughts that you convey then we would all have Heaven on Earth.Splendid and very uplifting.I gave you a ten. One little pointer in English all proper nouns begin with a capital letter.A noun is the name of a person, place or thing-as I learned it.Cupid is the Roman name of the love god and should be capitalised.Everything else is fantastic.Good work! ! ! !

A garden not beyond our grasp, if we but learned to consider each other as equally worthy dwellers there.
