Sets of written, printed, illustrated knowledge,
Packaged in forms of books to give us an edge,
Up to date knowledge of the universe within our hand,
That bestows greatness to those who understand,
So much knowledge within a book we can easily find,
With their words we can have a glance in the authors mind,
Their ideas, knowledge and philosophy is ours to learn,
All their secrets and tricks to make life's tables turn,
From galaxys and blackholes to animals and germs,
Knowledge of human development and even medical terms,
Almost everything you can imagine is knowledge in books,
Even skills to fly planes, even secrets of great cooks,
Even across the millennium you can still read works of old,
Knowledge of Socrates, Sun tzu, all far greater than gold,
Breaking the shackles of time, feeding knowledge to minds,
Greatness in this lifetime seeks few and avid readers it finds.
