The Goddess Of Love Came In Bridal Attire Poem by Sasanka Sekhar Panda

The Goddess Of Love Came In Bridal Attire

Rating: 5.0

The goddess of love
came in the bridal attire
bringing peace of heaven
to my dry life,
she smiled a smile
of thousand roses,
she showed me
the path of eternal bliss,
she took me to
ecstasy limitless,
her eyes were adorned with
millions of glittering stars,
love goddess
came in bridal attire.

She walked with me
clasping my hand
in her tender one,
in the untrodden path,
she shared all my emotions,
she smiled, she laughed
she sobbed, she wept, she cried,
she shared all my happiness
and sufferings too.
The love bird,
the goddess of love
came unnoticed and
left unnoticed.
Still I am waiting for her
for ever from time
to timelessness alike
for eternity.
