The Hands Of The Feeder Poem by Garrett Westcott

The Hands Of The Feeder

The gift of nature
Is seldom seen
In the city skylight
With its eerie sheen
But take a trip to the mountains
And you will see
More beauty than stairways
Up a monstrous building
A towering skyscraper
Isn't much to compare
To a majestic mountain
Or a river crystal clear
The birds in the sky
Know it's all true
That the hands of the Feeder
Gave this gift to you
