The Heart's Fond Of Pain Poem by nicole juarbes

The Heart's Fond Of Pain

He doesn't know that it hurts to breathe without him
Too twist and turn cuase you can't eat sleep without him
He does'nt feel the weight against his chest every second he doesn't speak to you
Need speak to you he cared ever for you
Yet you stay because a victim is what you play
Or all you know point being you stayed
He looked at her cold heartless and sent the dagger
By then she couldn't breathe she knew he had her
A memory a good one played in her head to block off the words he said that made her feel dead
He didnt see the black eye within he thought because he wasnt physical he didn't brusie
He didn't know he was the reason I loved and kept my mind from loose
He didn't bother to think the his every word would sink
I was paper and it was sinking right through another stain and another brusie
He didn't under that his body scent was her comfort to smell
That being able to sleep next to him and not touch was hell
The the grip of his strong hand was more then sexual but her shield
And his heart had a small sweet spot of love and gold
He didn't understand that he has given her a place where she's left to be
A place of his love and comfort something special unique
he just didn't know
